The Fernandeño Tataviam Band of Mission Indians is the historic tribe of the northern Los Angeles County of ancestral villages from the San Fernando, Santa Clarita, eastern Simi and Antelope Valleys. Our climate work is grounded in the protection and restoration of Tataviam ancestral lands, guided by traditional ecological knowledge passed down through generations. We focus on habitat restoration, water stewardship, and climate resilience to safeguard native plants, wildlife, and cultural resources. Through partnerships, education, and land-based practices, we are working to ensure a sustainable future for our people and the land we continue to care for.
